Margaret R. Ballard

Mrs. Margaret R. Ballard, 90, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 29, 1917 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late, Ober and Ursula Russell. Mrs. Ballard was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and was retired from R. J. Reynolds tobacco Company following 28 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Eugene Ballard and 3 brothers. Survivors include her son, Russell Ballard and wife Louise of Pfafftown; her daughter, Bonnie B. Tise of Winston-Salem; her sister, Florence R. Kirby of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Audrey Kazer, David Tise, Rodney Ballard and Randy Ballard; five great granddaughters and two great grandsons. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, August 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Johnson Gupton officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
