Margaret Ann Wyatt Templeton

Mrs. Margaret Ann Wyatt Templeton , 86, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by her family. Margaret was born in Glade Springs, VA, on May 20, 1937, to the late William Leslie Wyatt and Mabel Yancey Wyatt. Throughout Margaret’s life, she enjoyed reading, working on puzzle books, and tending to her yard and garden when she was able. She was also very computer smart. Most importantly, Margaret put her family first. She was the “queen bee” of her family, and she will surely be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 67 years, William Grady Templeton; her daughter, Cynthia Templeton Kiser; and her sisters, Mary Thompson and Elise Call. Those left to honor Margaret’s life include her son, William Templeton, Jr; grandsons, Travis (Amanda) Templeton, Richard (Melena) Kiser, and Frank Blythe; granddaughters, Elizabeth Kiser, Sarah (Brendan) Heye, Tabitha Kiser, and Nicole Kiser; son-in-law, Rick Kiser; sister, Virginia Boles; and many other loving great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A graveside service will be held on Friday June 9, 2023, at Parklawn Memorial Park at 12 noon with Travis Templeton officiating. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Templeton family.
