Mr. Manfred Gustav Stolle, 48, of Cornelius, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 29, 2009 in Charleston, SC. Mr. Stolle was born August 18, 1960 in Delmenhorst, Germany, a son of Alfred Stolle and Lore Wohlfahrt. Manfred spent several years living in Canada, Winston-Salem, and most recently Cornelius. He was an entrepreneur who owned several plastics companies, and he had a love for life and his family like no other. One of his passions was flying his Cirrus SR22 plane with his daughter to get their famous ""Hundred Dollar"" hamburger. His great laugh and generous time given to friends made him a great man to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Barbara Maida-Stolle; daughter, Maya Stolle; mother, Lore and her husband Manfred; father, Alfred Stolle; brothers, Ralf Stolle and Frank Stolle; niece, Michelle Stolle; mother and father-in-law, Carol and Paul Maida; and brother-in-law Bob Maida. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
