Malvine Elizabeth Gray

Mrs. Malvine Elizabeth Gray, 92, of Winston-Salem died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. She was born June 18, 1920 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Fannie Overstreet McClannan. Mrs. Gray was a member of Trinity Moravian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Gray. Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Prescott and husband, Benny of Davidson County and Peggy Gray and husband, Bob Watts of Colorado; three sons, Eddie Gray and Glen Gray of LaGrange and Walter Gray of Texas; two grandchildren, Brian Prescott and wife, Shannon of Davidson County and Shannon Prescott of Greensboro; and one great granddaughter, Chelsea Prescott of Davidson County. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Moravian Church, 220 East Sprague Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
