Mr. Malcolm Eugene Seymore, 83, of Winston-Salem died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1926 in Lee County, the son of the late, James Percy and Ruth Foushee Seymore. Mr. Seymore was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Sanford and served with the US Navy during World War II. He retired from McLean Trucking Company following 33 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Lumadue Seymore and four brothers. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Phelps Seymore of the home; two daughters, Norma Seymore Messick of Lewisville and Susan Seymore Kilby and husband, John of Lexington; four grandchildren, Aaron Christopher Messick and wife, Cameron, Brent Hamilton Messick and wife, Alicia, David Franklin Mullies, Jr., and Tammy Lynn Sharpe and husband, Shannon; three great grandchildren, James Fearrington Messick, Alex Franklin Mullies, and Kaitlyn Sharpe; two stepsons, Michael Phelps and wife, Claire of Advance and Gary Phelps and wife, Janet of Midway; and two step grandchildren, Kelly Phelps and Jennifer Phelps Cox and husband, John. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Robinson officiating.
