Mrs. Madge Bernice Loggins Warren, 79, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at her home. She was born July 5, 1929 in Forsyth County to the late Dempsy McGee Loggins Sr. and Natalie Renegar Loggins. Mrs. Warren retired from Sara Lee with 45 years service and volunteered at North Carolina Baptist Hospital for 5 years. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and has attended Kerwin Baptist Church for the past few years. Mrs. Warren was a loving mother and sister that will be missed greatly by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Burgener and husband Stephen of the home, two sisters, Mescal ""Pete"" Williams and husband Clarence of Rural Hall and Pat Winebarger of Kernersville. Mrs. Warren is also survived by several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Warren will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Easler and Rev. Darrel Fulp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening Jan. 18, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to; Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a special friend, Kyong McHenry for all the love and care shown during Mrs. Warren's time of need.
