Madeline Serafina Sturiale

Madeline Serafina Campagne Sturiale died peacefully Saturday, April 12, 2014 after a long illness complicated by normal pressure hydrocephalus. Madeline was born on June 1, 1924. She lived most of her life in Bethpage, Long Island, New York, and then moved to the Winston-Salem area to be near family. She is survived by her loving husband, ""Jiggs,"" adoring children, Jeanne (Michael Rothkopf) and James (Diana); and three grandchildren. Her ready smile, generosity and spunk will long be remembered by all whose lives she touched. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Trinity Glen, Trinity Elms and Hospice of Winston-Salem, as well as friends and relatives for their care and support before and during Madeline's illness.
