Madeline Eller

Mrs. Madeline Lovette Eller, 90, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Trinity Elms.  She was born in Wilkes County on March 23, 1928, the last surviving of 12 children, born to the late Richard Thomas and Connie Bishop Lovette.  Mrs. Eller graduated from Millers Creek High School and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. with 36 years of service.  She was a long time member of Lewisville Baptist Church and was involved in the quilting ministry, homebound ministry, rescue mission ministry and was a member of the Class of Ruth Sunday School.  Preceding her in death was her husband of 50 years, Rollen G. Eller.  Surviving is a niece, Judy L. Craft and husband, Perry of Lewisville and many other nieces and nephews; also surviving is a special friend, Carolyn Marlow and other friends and neighbors.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2018 at Lewisville Baptist Church with Dr. George Smith and Dr. Joe Coltrane officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM prior to the service.  A graveside service will follow at 4:00 PM at Arbor Grove United Methodist Church in Wilkes County.  The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Trinity Elms Rehab Center for all the care and devotion given to Mrs. Eller.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made Lewisville Baptist Church, 125 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd.
