Mack Earl Smith, Jr.

Mr. Mack Earl Smith, Jr., 88, of Winston-Salem passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Winston-Salem. Mack was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Williams Smith. Surviving are his daughter, Karan Montgomery (Rick); one brother, Bobby Smith and one brother-in-law, James Donald Williams. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and many loving friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Funeral services to celebrate Mack's life will be held at Pine Grove United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Marilyn L. Weiler officiating. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center and Pine Grove United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Christopher Jue, Dr. John Hollingsworth, Dr. Mark Corbett and the staff of Hospice for their care and compassion.
