Mrs. Mabel Shoaf Cameron, 98, of Lexington passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Mabel was born August 29, 1923, in Forsyth County. She worked for over 20 years as a biscuit maker at Biscuit House. She was a very loving grandmother, who loved to bake and always had a dessert waiting on her family when they came to visit on Sundays. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, husband, Duke Cameron, and son, Harold Shoaf.
Mabel is survived by her granddaughters, Wanda Hedrick and husband Richard, Angie Willard and fiancé Scottie, and Shanna Shoaf; grandson, Darian Shoaf and wife Donna; daughter in law, Brenda Hedrick; great grandchildren, Steven, Brooke (Zach), Tyler (Tori), Heather (Scott), Timothy (Mary), and Nicole; great grandchildren, Solaris, Emersyn, Amelia, Everleigh, Austin, Skylar, Payton, Alyssa, Isaiah, and Joshua; niece, Barbara; and nephew, Timmy.
A celebration of Mabel's life will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
