Mr. M. Otis Everhart, 81, of Heritage Woods passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1928 in Forsyth County to Avory and Mamie Yountz Everhart. Mr. Everhart was a member of Immanuel-New Eden Moravian Church and was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after 35 years of service. Surviving are a daughter, Kay E. Burke (Ray) of Advance; a son, Robert K. Everhart (Penny) of Kernersville; three grandchildren, Connie B. Hendricks, Emily E. Stanfield and Kimberly Fulk; four great grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Zimmerman of Winston-Salem; and a brother, Thurman Everhart of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel-New Eden Moravian Church with Rev. Walter Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Moravian Graveyard.
