Lynnie Parks Gregory

GREGORY - KING Mr. Lynnie Parks Gregory, 53, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, September 17, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 6, 1957 in Iredell County to the late Hubert and Margaret Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a devoted and active member of Calvary Baptist Church in King. He was also a faithful and loving husband. Surviving are his wife, Gina Brooks Gregory; three siblings, Brenda Steele, Hubert ""Buck"" Gregory and Margaretina ""Tina"" Ervin; and also, numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20 at Calvary Baptist Church in King with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. A graveside service will follow. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 19 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
