Lynn Edward Pierce

Mr. Lynn Edward ""Ed"" Pierce, 77, of Lewisville, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Pierce was born July 8, 1936 in Forsyth County to Lynn Franklin and Edith Wood Pierce. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Clemmons for the past 15 years, and retired from R.J. Reynolds with 33-1/2 years of loyal service. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Ida Mae. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Dalton Pierce, of the home; one son, Mark Lynn Pierce and wife, Mary, of East Bend; three grandchildren, Melanie, C.C., and William; and two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Eli. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Monday, September 9, 2013, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Don Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park with military honors performed by the Clemmons Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
