On February 22, 2018, God gently called Lutrelle Elledge Chipman home.
Ms. Chipman was born on July 11, 1935 in Hays, NC, to the late Oliver and Esther Elledge. Ms. Chipman graduated from Millers Creek High School in 1953, moved to the Winston-Salem area, then retired from Sara Lee Hosiery with over 40 years of service. She was a much-loved, faithful member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ.
To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her three daughters, Ivy Kiger and husband Randy of Rural Hall, Mitzi Naylor of Mocksville, and Lou Ann Chipman of Kernersville. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Elise Naylor Cave and husband Jonathan and great grandsons, Nathan and Jackson Cave, all of Boonville; sister, Anita Elledge Hamby of Pfafftown; and a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Warners Chapel Church of Christ. The family will receive friends Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6 - 8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
Flowers are accepted or a memorial gift may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
