Luella Welch Perryman

Mrs. Luella Welch Perryman, 90, passed away May 4, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 9, 1922 in Wilkes County to Winnie Triplett and Joseph Welch. She was a member of College Park Baptist Church. She enjoyed making baskets and was a beautician at one time in her life. She was a devoted wife and mother and she loved her cat Lucky. Preceding her in death was her husband of 65 years, Linley Franklin Perryman. Surviving are her son, Joe (Joie) Perryman of Winston-Salem; a cousin, Reba Jean Reynolds; Sisters-in-law, Mary Lillian Hunter and Hilda Perryman; nieces, Patsy Stegall, Heidi Priest and husband John; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and her loving pet cat, Lucky. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at College Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC with Rev. Ramon Smith and Mr. John Priest officiating. A committal service will follow at Mountlawn Cemetery in North Wilkesboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
