Lucy Ledford Wadkins

Mrs. Lucy Ledford Wadkins, 63, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Wadkins was born in Kaywood, Kentucky on October 29, 1949 to Henry Hensley and Georgia Mae Crane. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wadkins; her parents; and a brother, Eddie Killion. She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Dodson and husband, Bobby of Bridgewater, VA, Frankie Tilley and husband Keith of Asheboro, and Jamie Joyner and fiancé, David of Southmont; four grandchildren, Candice, Bobby, Angel, and Shania; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Nevaeh, and Hayden; four brothers, Sammy Killion and wife Becky, Bobby Killion, Bill Hensley, and Earl Hensley; and a sister, Edna Nye and husband Ken. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
