Mrs. Lucille Keiger Myers, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, November 22, 2009 at her home. She was born December 20, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Burnie Ray Keiger and Ruby Viola Grubbs Keiger. Mrs. Myers was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She was a long time member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and was very active as long as her health permitted. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Marie ""Dink"" Fulk and a brother, Billie Ray Keiger. Mrs. Myers is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ray Myers of the home, a daughter, Teresa Mabe and husband Keith of High Point, a son, Wayne Myers and wife Jennifer of Raleigh, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Jaunita Elizabeth Ogburn of King. A graveside service for Mrs. Myers will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. There will be no public visitation.
