Mrs. Lucille Tesh Hill, (Granny) 103, of Clemmons, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1909 in Davidson County to Robert and Hattie Lambeth Tesh. Mrs. Hill was retired from Western Electric in 1969. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perley (Pert) E. Hill in 1984; three sisters; Dorothy Nifong, Etta Austin, Virginia Tesh and a brother, Robert Tesh. Surviving are two daughters, L. Irene Williams of Dragoone, AZ and Juanita Hill; two sons, Jimmy Hill (Peggy) and Carlton Hill (Jean); six grandchildren, Linda Kaschalk (Al), Beverly Frye (Galen), Livy Williams (Zhanna), Carla Hill Warrick (Will), Derek Hill and Tonya Hill; six great grandchildren, Livy Williams IV, Kai Williams, Matthew and Morgan Warrick, Peyton and Anna Hill; and a sister, Elizabeth Burke. Granny was a kind and generous Christian Woman, who devoted her life to helping others, she enjoyed her great-grandchildren and her Maltese, Bentley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arcadia Church of Christ, 3448 Enterprise Road, Lexington, 27295 or to Palliative Care of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
