Lucille Hauser Chapple

Mrs. Lucille Hauser Chapple, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009. At that moment she gained entry into her eternal home and was reunited with her husband of 62 years, Lester Glenn Chapple, who died February 14, 2009. She was born July 26, 1923 in Forsyth County to Roswell Daniel Hauser, Sr. and Hattie Graham Hauser. Mrs. Chapple was an active member of Augsburg Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, and two brothers. Surviving are her son, Mike Chapple and wife Carrie of Advance; four grandchildren of whom she was very proud, Jennifer C. Chandler and husband, Ronnie of High Point, Zach Chapple, Hannah Chapple, and Molly Chapple, all of Advance; a sister, Lena Miller of Winston-Salem; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13 at Augsburg Lutheran Church with the Rev. Shirley Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Augsburg Lutheran Church, 845 W.
