Mrs. Annie Lucille Dockery Adams Anagnos, 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday June 20, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Anagnos was born in Forsyth county to the late Clifford Emory and Annie Whittington Dockery on November 8, 1927. She was a member of Konnoak Hills Moravian Church. Mrs. Anagnos loved to sew and read and she especially enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Robert L. Adams and Paul Anagnos; and two brothers Clifford Emmet Dockery, Jr. and James Buddy Dockery. Mrs. Anagnos is survived by two daughters, Donna Hamm of Winston-Salem and Marty Trogdon and husband Eddie of Asheboro; two sons Robert L. Adams, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Kernersville and Joseph W. Adams of Winston-Salem; eight grandchildren; and a sister Betty Sue Romfelt and husband Tom of Concord. A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 am Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Forsyth Memorial Park with the Rev. John Rights officiating.
