Lucille L. Beaman of King NC was born in Winston Salem, N.C. on September 8, 1923. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 11, 2020. She was the oldest girl of seven children of L.J. and Grace Livingston. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas G. Beaman and her son Larry G. Beaman.
She was a retiree after 35 years at Western Electric in the Guidance Systems Department. After she retired, she enjoyed working and volunteering at local nursing homes. She was a wonderful cook and lovingly served delicious meals for her large family and friends on Sundays and holidays. Her hobbies included quilting, collecting dolls and walking on the beach.
Survivors include her two sons, Jerry and Randy, and their wives Anne and Sherrill, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She made many special friends throughout her life which included Velma Grubb and Deborah Lawson.
The family extends special thanks for the loving care provided in the later years of her life by her granddaughter, Lisa Beaman, her niece Donna Parrish, her great-great-grandsons, Mason and Dylan Sawyers and his friend Stephanie Fowler , Velma Grubb and Deborah Lawson.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be sent to the Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care at 129 Veterans Dr., Pilot Mountain, N.C. 27041 and/or the Sauratown Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 4475 NC Hwy 66, King, N.C. 27021.
