Lucienne Hemrick

Mrs. Lucienne Marcelle Destouesse Hemrick, 94, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022.  She was born September 8, 1928, in Bordeaux, France to the late Leon and Denise Destouesse.  Lucienne was a very giving person, always putting others needs before her own.  She loved food and was well known for being such an outstanding cook.  Lucienne also loved to garden, especially her flowers.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Louis Hemrick.  Lucienne is survived by her daughter, Laura Coggins (Dale); two grandchildren, Monica Coggins and Christopher Coggins (Kasey); and three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kaison, and Arianna.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. John Bishop officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choosing.
