Lu Tickle Dolinger

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lu Tickle Dolinger, beloved wife to Rick Dolinger, and loving mother to Ryan Tickle. Lu passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023, at her home. Lu was born on July 15, 1953, in Greensboro NC. She graduated from UNCG with a degree in Speech Therapy and went on to pursue a career in real estate, where she found great success.  In 1999 Lu married Rick Dolinger, and together they built a beautiful and simple life filled with love and laughter. Lu's greatest joy in life was her son Ryan, whom she raised with love, care, and devotion. Ryan was her pride and joy, and she loved him more than anything in this world. Lu will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and friend, and her passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her. Lu is survived by her loving husband, Rick Dolinger, her son Ryan Tickle, and her daughter-in-law Megan (Elmore), who lives in Winston-Salem, NC.
