Lowell Von Sneathern

Kernersville - Mr. Lowell Sneathern was born on July 21, 1940 in Boswell, Arkansas to the late Charlie and Aretha Sneathern and passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Lowell spent a career working in aviation which he loved. Lowell is survived by his wife of 49 years, Norma; his son, Larry Sneathern of Albemarle, NC; his daughter, Linda Hicks (Trey) of Lewisville, NC; three grandchildren, who he adored, Kasie Marrufo (Abraham) of Greensboro, NC; Matthew and Makayla Drane of Lewisville, NC; also two very special girls, Christie and Stephanie and his precious dog, Tillie. In addition to his immediate family, Lowell is survived by brothers, Charles Sneathern (Barbara) of West Memphis, AR, Elvis Sneathern (Wanda) of Mt. Pleasant, AR; sister, Della Elrod of Mt. Pleasant, AR and multiple nieces and nephews. Lowell will be missed by his entire family and his morning Kernersville ""Coffee"" friends. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Steve Autrey officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
