Louise Adele Marcotullio

Mrs. Louise Adele Marcotullio, 94, passed away May 25, 2013 at Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community, where she resided since April 2012. Mrs. Marcotullio was born in Tuckahoe, NY on June 3, 1918 to Peter and Celia Rossi. She resided in New York until 2005, when she moved to Advance, NC. Mrs. Marcotullio was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. She loved to travel; taking numerous trips to Italy to visit family and friends, and also enjoying several cruises. Mrs. Marcotullio was an avid ""antiquer"" and music lover, enjoying both classical and opera. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dr. Bernardino Marcotullio. Mrs. Marcotullio is survived by two sons, Robert Marcotullio and wife Virginia of Savannah, GA, and Richard Marcotullio and wife Elisabeth of Advance, NC; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, with Father Brian J. Cook officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Mount Cemetery in Tuckahoe, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 335 Springdale Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or Salesian Missions, 2 Lefevre Lane, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
