Louise Duggins Lawson

LAWSON WALKERTOWN, The Lord never makes a mistake; He called for Mrs. Louise Duggins Lawson, 81, Friday, August 7, 2009 following a brief illness at Forsyth Medical Center. Louise was born in Madison on May 24, 1928 the daughter of the late Edgar and Nora Duggins. Louise was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown; she had retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 28 years of service. Louise enjoyed going to the beach, gardening and all animals. Surviving is her husband of 50 years Powell Dennis Lawson, a daughter Marien Miller and a son and daughter-in-law Frank and Pollie Lawson, a sister-in-law Mary Lawson Reirson. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 Monday, August 10, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum.
