BULLARD Mrs. Louise Welborn Bullard, 89, of Winston-Salem died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 8, 1921 in Yadkin County, the daughter of the late, Miles Royal and Mary Grubbs Welborn. Mrs. Bullard was a member of Grace Baptist Temple and was retired from Western Electric following 35 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Medrick Bullard; her grandson, Rex White, Jr.; two sisters, Ruby Hicks and Joyce Torrie and two brothers, Paul Welborn and Raymond Welborn. Survivors include two daughters, Diane White of Winston-Salem and Sandra Higgs of Monrovia, CA; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three sisters, Dot Hemrick, Lois Shamel and Pearl Tamer all of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Jim Bush officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
