Louis Dale Stiles

ClemmonsMr. Louis Dale Stiles, 81, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his home. He was born January 3, 1932 in Thayer, Kansas to the late Harry and May Kerns Stiles. Mr. Stiles retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service. After his naval career, he worked for Stroh's Brewery and retired with 20 years of service. He was a member of the Submarine Veteran's Association, was an avid golfer, and enjoyed gardening. Preceding him in death was a son, Curtis Lee Stiles and four brothers. Surviving is his wife, Cornelia Stiles; daughter, Pam Stiles Cass of Union Grove; two sons, Kenneth Stiles of Sweet Home, Oregon and Jeff Stiles of Ball Ground, Georgia; step-children, Kenneth and Pamela Ridings of Greensboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Dianne Stiles of Mocksville. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
