Louis Glenn Pettus

Mr. Louis Glenn Pettus, 73, of Walkertown passed away Tuesday, December 02, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 14, 1935 in Stokes County. Mr. Pettus was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Pettus of the home; daughter, Janet Cranfill and husband John of Walkertown; two brothers, Harvey Pettus of Winston-Salem, Billy Joe Pettus of Kernersville; four grandchildren, Whitney Sapp, Will Sapp, Carson Whitaker, Amber Cranfill; a great grandson, Dominic Moyer. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
