Lou Zettie Bullock Pardue, 87, went home to be with her Heavenly Father Saturday afternoon, June 29, 2024, at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale.
Lou was born on June 9, 1937, in Rockingham County to the late Curtis and Bessie Beasley Bullock. She was a faithful member of Oak Level Baptist Church, and she was retired from AMP, where she was an inspector for many years. In her free time, Lou enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends, whether taking a trip somewhere or going out to eat, two things which she thoroughly enjoyed. She had a sweet and sincere demeanor that could light up a room. She was an avid Nascar fan for many years, always pulling for “her” driver, Dale Jarrett.
In addition to her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Pardue, children, Teressa, Ronnie, and Baby Pardue, three brothers, Raymond, Ralph, and Tommy, and three sisters, Marie, Ellen, and Peggy.
Lou is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, great great great nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Joann Bullock.
An 11:00 am funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Oak Level Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Walker officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at Oak Level on Wednesday, July 3, from 10 am till 11am.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the many wonderful staff members at Countryside Manor and Amedisys Hospice Care for their love, care, and compassion shown to Lou over these past few months.
In lieu of flowers, donations or memorials may be made to Oak Level Baptist Church: 1569 Oak Level Church Rd, Stokesdale, NC 27357.
