Lorraine Jean Duncan Nowicki

KERNERSVILLE - Lorraine Jean Duncan Nowicki, 50 passed away Monday, July 14, 2008 at her home. She was born October 6, 1957 in Hudson Co., New Jersey to the late James and Jean Lapinski Duncan. Lorraine was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She was employed with R.J. Reynolds for twenty years. Surviving are her husband, Walter F. Nowicki; two sons, Robert J. and Michael F. Nowicki, all of the home; one sister, Bernadette Duncan (Thomas) of New Jersey; two brothers, Henry Duncan (Luanne) of New Jersey and James Duncan (Natalia) of New York; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Johnson St. in High Point by Father Jack Kelly O.S.F.S. officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Hayworth Miller Cain Funeral Home in Kernersville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407.
