Lorraine Faust Jones

Mrs. Lorraine Faust Jones, 87, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Jones was born in Forsyth County to George H. and Cosner Disher Faust on July 23, 1923. She graduated from Gray High School and later was the co- owner of Jones TV Sales and Service for 35 years. After retirement, she lived at Atlantic Beach for 30 years and enjoyed playing bridge. Mrs. Jones was a member of Waughtown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Ernest Faust; and a son Dannie Lee Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Jones; two daughters, Susan Jones Nelson and husband Mike of Kernersville, and Dixie Lynn Jones of Winston-Salem; a granddaughter, Christina Nelson Strom and husband Patrick; a great-grandson, Jackson Strom; and three nephews, Gary A. Wiles and wife Gwen, Toby N. Wiles and wife Carolyn, and Jeffery R. Wiles and wife Sandy. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rick Swaim officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 pm, prior to the service, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
