Lorraine East

On November 10, 2022, Lorraine Moncier East, beloved wife, mother, and sister, gained her angel wings at the age of 57 after fighting a battle with leukemia. Lorraine was surround by her loved ones at her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Franklin Moncier and Voncille Kilzer Moncier, and sister, Jenny Moncier. Lorraine leaves behind her husband, Russell East; son, Jeremiah Freeman (Leslie); daughter, Jessica Diaz (Monee); four grandchildren, Abygail, Jonathan, Levi, and Noah; two sisters, Martha Melton (Mike) and Aileen Hibbitt (Wayne); and brother, Johnny Moncier (Marilyn); four nephews and one niece, Shane Melton (Danielle), Jo Marie Weaver (Evan), Logan Hibbitt (Holly), Travis Hibbitt, and Cole Melton; and her beloved dog, Mona. Lorraine loved her church family and working with the deaf. She loved all holiday, and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and watching movies. She will forever be in our hearts and memories. A Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Jamestown Church of God.
