Loretta Howell Plymale

KERNERSVILLE-Loretta Jean Howell Plymale, 73 died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born May 24, 1935 in Bedford Co., Virginia to the late Oakey and Lizzie Mae Daniels Howell. Loretta retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. as security supervisor/fire protection after 18 years of service. She was the head advisor of Explorer Post 975 for the Forsyth Co. Sherriff Department for over 10 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth B. Plymale of the home; one son, Keith Plymale of Winston Salem; two brothers, Alfred Howell of Bedford, Virginia, and William Edward Howell of Mesa, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel and from 6-8 pm Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Updike Funeral Home in Huddleston, Virginia with a funeral service to be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, May 25, 2009 at Mt.
