Loretta Carter Linville

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Loretta Carter Linville, 69, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013. Loretta was born on July 22, 1943 in Forsyth County to the late Charlie Justice and Ruby Tuttle Carter. 'The love she had for her family is not adequate to describe her feelings. It was so much more. Our family is grateful to the Lord for giving us the strength to keep her in our home during her five years of sickness. Although being homebound was not the best, in the last years for her, looking out the window at the farm, watching her grandsons play in the yard, watching her husband and sons working in the fields of green soybeans and amber waves of wheat was not all bad! At the end of our 42-year journey together, it seemed so much less time. Even with our saddened hearts, life has been good to our family. The void left will be big.' from her husband, sons and grandsons. Surviving are her husband, Richard V. Linville; two sons, Chad (Jessica) Linville and Corey Linville; grandsons 'Memaw's little boys', Luke, Levi and Carter Linville; special friend, Jodi Allen; sister, Carolyn Dalton and brother, Jeff Carter. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Pastors Herbert Mabe and Dan Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 9:00 PM Monday, June 24, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to her caregivers, Ruby Cordelle and Judy Tuttle.
