Lorene Nichols Crater

Mrs. Lorene Nichols Crater, 88, of Bermuda Run, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Lorene was born May 26, 1927 in Davie County to Sears and Beatrice Nichols. She was a devoted member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church. In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Monroe Crater, infant son, Dale Monroe Crater, and brother, Bill Nichols.

Lorene is survived by her sister, Alice ""Chink"" Nichols Beck; cousin, John Wall and wife Rhonda; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2 pm at New Philadelphia Moravian Church Graveyard with Dr. Worth Green officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of Bermuda Village and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their loving care of Lorene.
