Mrs. Lorene Lawson Clark, 88, beloved Christian wife, mother and grandmother, passed away June 2, 2020 in Rock Hill, SC. She was born in Stokes Co. on May 9, 1932 the daughter of the late George Fount Lawson and Mabel Viola Slate Lawson. Mrs. Clark was a member of Poplar Springs Church of Christ in Rural Hall, where she was active as long as her health permitted. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Brown and Marie Pulliam; and a brother, Bud Lawson. She is survived by her husband, Conrad Richard Clark, Sr.; two sons, Conrad Richard “Rick” Clark, Jr. (Stormy) and Gary Clark (Jill); three grandchildren, Avyn Rhodes, Dennis Rhodes (Kathryn) and Lindsey Hart; two great-grandchildren, Remy and Darby Rhodes; a sister, Guelda Hall; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Poplar Springs Church of Christ Cemetery with Ralph Sproles, Minister officiating.
