Loren Gray Tingle

LEWISVILLE - Loren Gray Tingle of Lewisville, NC died Saturday, December 31, 2011. He was born in Bath, NC on December 12, 1937. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Richard Thomas and Pearl Midgette Tingle; brothers, Winfield, Talmadge, and Richard Tingle; and sister, Peggy Tingle Nordstrom. He is survived by wife, Janis Fischer Tingle; step-children, Danny Pitts and Donna Tingle Moore (Rick), whom he raised as his own children; stepsons, Steven Kercher (Sabrina), and Andrew Kercher (Robin); sisters, Ann Tingle Tetterton (Donald) and Emma Tingle Paul (John); and eight grandchildren. A memorial service, with Rev. Bob McCaskill officiating, will be at 12 noon, Saturday, January 7, at Pinedale Christian Church, Winston-Salem, NC. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
