Lorelei Faye Tate

Lorelei Faye Tate was born still into the arms of God August 14th, 2023 at Baptist hospital in Winston Salem, NC.

She is survived by her loving parents, Casey and Robert Tate, sisters, Naomi and Claire, brothers, Dean and Sebastian, great grandparents, Helen Barclay, Tom and Ellen Freeman, grandparents, Sandra Tate, Robert Tate, Albert Barclay jr, and lots of loving aunt's, uncle's, cousins, and family friends.

She is preceded in death by multiple siblings, her grandmother (Ulisi) Faye Elizabeth Freeman, great grandfather, Albert Barclay Sr, her "Uncle" Tony Frisk, family friend and mentor, Lokanath Anderson, and many other very loved and cherished friends and family.

In her short time with us, she touched the hearts of so many. Affectionately nicknamed "Baby Lou" by her older siblings, her birth was greatly anticipated, and she was such a beautiful, yet brief gift to our family.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to Atrium health maternal fetal medicine, and all of the wonderful doctors, nurses, and specialists who have been so kind, particularly geneticist Daragh Conrad, for all of her care, compassion, and guidance through the most difficult time of our lives.

Also, to our extended families, who came together to form a circle of love, support, and empathy. Who have cried for, and with us, given the best guidance they could give when asked, given space when needed, and loved and supported us throught.

Our baby girl, so very loved and so very wanted. We will hold you in our hearts until we can one day hold you in Heaven. We prayed for you, we longed for you. We will long for you until the ends of the Earth. Our beautiful baby Lou, Mama's heart will forever cherish the time I got to spend carrying you. Our memories will be laden with your little kicks and flutters. We are so grateful for the short time we got to spend holding you in our arms. One day, we'll hold you once again, until then we know that you are in the loving arms of Our Father, the caring presence of your Ulisi, and so many more beautiful, cherished people who have gone on before you. Smile, run, play, and be free, our perfect angel. We love you more than you will ever know, Mama and Daddy.
