Lonnie Eugene Riggs

Mr. Lonnie Eugene Riggs, 84, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at his home. He was born in Forsyth Co. on May 19, 1940, the son of the late Tommy Odell Riggs and Patsy Lena Goode Riggs. Lonnie retired from APEC after many years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Hawaii. Lonnie loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Cox Riggs; three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his two daughters, Theresa Jefferys of Madison and Angela Mabe of King; three grandchildren, Zach Jefferys, Justin Jefferys and Tabethea Mabe; and three great-grandchildren, Macy Mabe, Raelynn Mabe and Logan Jefferys.
