Lola Jean Proctor Brown

Mrs. Lola Jean Proctor Brown, 88, passed away Monday, October 30^th, 2023, at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mocksville, NC. Lola was born on April 5^th, 1935, to the late Paul Robert Proctor and Lena Long Proctor in Yadkin County, NC.

Lola retired from Edgar B. Furniture in Winston-Salem, NC. She was also a member of Forsyth Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC.

In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Allan Brown; son, Terry Allan Brown; and grandson, David Allen Duquemin. Her surviving family members include her two daughters, Sandra B. (Mike) Imgram of Fries, VA, and Karon B. (Charles) Duquemin of Sherrills Ford, NC; eight grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Woodland Cemetery with Pastor Tom Southern officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00  – 1:45pm  at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Friday prior to the graveside service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Davie Nursing and Rehabilitation for the loving care they showed to Lola.
