Lois Hemric Stone

Mrs. Lois Hemric Stone, 83, of Winston-Salem died Monday, April 4, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1926 in Winston-Salem, the daughter of the late John and Edith Sharp. Mrs. Stone was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Stone, her son, Marvin Dick Hemric, Jr., and her former husband, Marvin L. Hemric, Sr. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Linda K. Hemric of Lewisville; two granddaughters, Sherry Hemric Valentine and husband, Patrick of Lewisville and Laura Schumann of Wilmington; two grandsons, Chad Hemric and wife, Toshiko of the US Navy and Jeff Hemric and wife, Kathy of Clayton; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Gladys Walker of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Forsyth Memorial Park.
