Lois Hester Pope

KERNERSVILLE-- Mrs. Lois Hester Pope, 89, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County to the late Edward Ernest and Minnie Ballard Hester. She was a member of Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fletcher E. Pope. She is survived by three sons, Terry 'Fletcher' Pope (wife Sue) of Walnut Cove, Darius Pope of Kernersville, and Warren Pope (wife, Shirley) of Kernersville; five grandchildren, and two great granddaughters and one great grandson. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday May 11th at Kernersville Seventh Day Church with Pastor Don Davis, Pastor Dan Nelson, and Pastor Duane Peterson officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Pope family.
