Winston- Salem- Lois Myers Wilson Lewallen, 89 passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010. She was born November 13, 1920 in Forsyth County to the late Lonnie Vestal and Hila Jones Myers. Mrs. Lewallen was a member of Crews United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was also a member of the United Methodist Women. I addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two husbands Ed Wilson and Herb Lewallen; daughter Bonnie L. Goodson and sister Elsie Mae Myers. Surviving are her two daughters; Angie W. Spainhour (Thurman) of Kernersville, Ricki L. Tedder (Bill) of Winston-Salem; two sons, Larry Lewallen (Brenda) of Winston-Salem) and Mike Lewallen (Monica) also of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Amy B. Hodges, Kevin Beeson (Angela), Shawn Lewallen (Rachel), Stella Lewallen, Autumn Hayes (Brent), Amber Sharpe, Kyle Goodson and Nathan Goodson; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Megan, Annabell, Hunter, Janie, Porter, Mark, Corie and Berkley; sister, Loraine Peddycord (Jack) of Winston-Salem and Brother, Raymond Myers (Loretta) who resides in Florida; sister in-laws, Joann Flowers and Mary Pesko and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes out to Sharon Leonard and others who went the extra mile to take care of her. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00PM, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Crews United Metodist Church with Rev. Brian Crady officiating. Family will visit with friends from 11:30AM to 12:30PM prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Crews United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall or Cemetery fund; 4150 Reidsville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
