Lois Carol Francis Lawson

Mrs. Lois Carol Francis Lawson peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center at the age of 79 years old. She was born on January 28, 1945, in Bristol, Tennessee, to the late Missouri Shelton and Thomas Francis.

Lois loved the Lord and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and also loved gardening, her flowers, and feeding her hummingbirds. 

The love of her life, Sonny, passed away in 2011, and she is now in heaven with him. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Mechiele Lawson and Kelly (Robert) Dye; her beloved grandchildren, Anna (Zack) Miller, Haley (Chris) Morrison, Parker McCallum (Anna Cooper), Tyler Lewis, and Trey Lewis; and beloved great-grandchildren, Carter, Wyatt, Camden, Maxwell, and Kate.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Parklawn Memorial Park with Pastor Cletis Titus officiating.
