Lois Virginia Forcum

Miss Lois Virginia Forcum, 86, passed away June 9, 2014 at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kernersville. She was born March 15, 1928 in Forsyth County to the late William Joseph Forcum and Ruby Hooker Forcum. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Smith. She was a member of Linville Forest Church of Christ. Lois will always be remembered as a gentle, genuine and sweet person that was everyone's friend. She will be missed by her loving family. She is survived by her two brothers, Joe Forcum and wife Nancy, and Jim Forcum; her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Forcum, JoAnna Larrimore, June Wicker, Mary Parks, Cindy Jessup, Steve Forcum, Brian Forcum, Wendi Stafford, and Jeff Smith. She is also survived by a very dear friend, Brenda Blackburn. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Minister Kelly Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
