Lois Caudle Evans

Mrs. Lois Caudle Evans, 87, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was born in Yadkin County on January 5, 1930 to the late John Marvin and Lillie McKnight Caudle. Mrs. Evans was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed flower gardening and loved whenever all of her family were together. Preceding her in death was her husband, Cecil Evans and a son, Ronnie Evans. Surviving are three sons, Richard Evans of Advance, Larry Evans (Eileen) of Hamlet, and Bobby Atkins (Pam) of East Bend; daughter-in-law, Donna Evans; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; also surviving are two sisters, Betty Clodfelter (Gwyn) of Lewisville and Mildred Thompson of Spencer and a brother, Roger Caudle (Julia) of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Grapevine Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Mary Evans and Deya Dolph.
