Lisa Ann Whittington

WINSTON SALEM-Lisa Ann Whittington, 41, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1967 in Watauga Co. to Ruby Roten Whittington and Jack Randolph Whittington, Sr. of Winston Salem. In addition to her parents surviving are her brother, Jack R. Whittington, Jr. and wife Patricia of Lake Bluff, Illinois; one sister, Kathy Sain of Winston Salem; several nieces and nephews, Haley, Tyler, Megan, Kennedy, Hannah, Joshua, Levi, and Isabelle. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, after the service at the Roten Family Cemetery in Creston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church, 890 Walkertown-Guthrie Rd., Winston Salem, NC 27101, or the American Cancer Society, 4A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
