Lisa Caudill Horsley

Ms. Lisa Maria Caudill Horsley, 32, passed away August 29, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born April 23, 1982 in Forsyth County to Rickie Lee Caudill and Linda Jean Phelps Caudill. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Bob Caudill and Ray Phelps. Lisa was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. She graduated from Mt. Airy High School and had a great love for her church, cooking and most of all her son, Tanner Lee Horsley. Lisa will always be remembered as a loving, caring and generous Mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She is survived by the love of her life, her son, Tanner Lee Horsley; her mother, Linda Phelps Caudill (Mark Davis); her father, Rick Caudill (Jennie Lowry Caudill); her sisters, Amber Caudill Kelly and Madeline Caudill; her brothers, James and Rickie Caudill; her grandmothers, Avalee Caudill and Ethel Phelps; a nephew, Tyler Kelly and a niece, Madison Kelly. She is also survived by numerous family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, September 1, 2014 at Old Town Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Speas officiating. Burial will be at 3:00pm following the service at Whitehead-Joines Cemetery in Sparta, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made in Lisa's name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
