Linnea Gerald Sullivan, Sr.

KERNERSVILLE-Mr. Linnea Gerald Sullivan, Sr. age 75, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Kerner Ridge assisted living. He was born July 6, 1940 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Sullivan and Zella Lambeth Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan retired from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School system after 34 years of service where he was the HVAC/Plumbing Supervisor. Gerald was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church serving as Sunday school director for over 30 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Phyllis Mustin Sullivan and a brother Garland Sullivan. Surviving are his sons Linnea Sullivan, Jr. (Leslie), and Michael Sullivan (Doria); sister Peggy Tyler (Claimon); sister-in-law Ruth Sullivan and eight grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at Gospel Light Baptist Church, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Bobby Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
